WWE Champion Big E Humbled to Hype Iowa Hawkeyes Before Big Ten Game Against Michigan Wolverines

Big E is perhaps going through the best phase of his life right now. Since becoming the WWE Champion, not only had he received praise from everyone but also featured in hype videos. Previously, Big E featured in the hype video for Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder III. Now again, Big E appeared in a hype video for the Iowa Hawkeyes before their Big Ten Championship game against the Michigan Wolverines.

Big E gave a lively introduction to the Iowa Hawkeyes in the hype video. He must have felt great to introduce the Iowa Hawkeyes, owing to his history with the franchise.


The WWE Champion posted out a tweet and claimed he feels honored to have got this opportunity. Iowa Hawkeyes will always be a special team for Big E.

The WWE Champion played as a defensive lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes during his time at the University of Iowa. But unfortunately for all the Iowa Hawkeyes fans, the game against the Michigan Wolverines ended disappointingly. They lost 3-42 to the Michigan Wolverines.

NFL Star Braylon Edwards praised Big E

Braylon Edwards is a former American wide receiver in NFL. The former Cleveland Browns wide receiver had a breakthrough season in 2007 and became the first Browns receiver since 1989 to make it to the Pro Bowl game that year. Braylon recently posted a picture with Big E on Twitter.

In his tweet, the NFL star showed support for the Michigan Wolverines before their game against the Iowa Hawkeyes. However, he also claimed Big E is the only Iowa Hawkeyes supporter with whom he will take a picture all weekend. Braylon then praised the WWE Champion. He wrote, “Hell of a guy hell of a champ”.

Big E indeed proved to be a fighting champion so far. He will now defend his WWE Championship against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens at the WWE Day 1 PPV. It was supposed to be Big E vs Seth Rollins, but after Owens got a victory over Big E by disqualification, he got himself added to the title picture. Rollins had a huge role to play in it as he attacked Owens during the match, leading to the disqualification win.
