After his loss at WrestleMania 36, Brock Lesnar’s contract expired and he hasn’t signed a new deal. Last month, The United States Patent and Trademark Office canceled a trademark of Brock Lesnar.
This happened after WWE failed to comply with an extension request. Check out the picture below.

On 1/9, WWE filed for the name Brock Lesnar. They booked it under entertainment services by a professional wrestler. The USPTO denied WWE’s request on 3/12, and Brock Lesnar had to give written consent for the application to move forward. The authorities also had issues with certain verbiage WWE used in filing.
The company had a six-month period to provide written consent from Brock Lesnar; unfortunately, the company did not provide the required. WWE’s filing was canceled on 9/15 and correspondence was sent to WWE to confirm.
WWE can still get the Brock Lesnar trademark back
If WWE provides the reasoning behind the delay and also consent from Brock Lesnar, then WWE can move forward with the application. WWE has until the 2nd of December to appeal for the trademark.
