The WWE dressing room is a fun place. Many WWE superstars like to pull pranks on each other. Back in the 90s, wrestlers used to rib other WWE Superstar. Late WWE Legend Owen Hart is one of the names known for pulling legs. The Blue Blazer Owen pulled such a prank on Dwayne Johnson in 1998.
Late WWE Legend, Owen Hart seemed to make it a point to be that guy who gave everybody in the locker room a good laugh.
On the latest edition of the Something To Wrestle With a podcast, Conrad Thompson and WWE Chief Bruce Prichard spoke about one funny instance.

Bruce Prichard shares a funny incident pulled by Owen Hart on The Rock!
Conrad Thompson asked Bruce, “You remember there being any ribs that Owen pulled on The Rock?” He also stated that on April 6, 1998, Late Owen Hart defeated Rocky Maivia by disqualification. Despite the match, Owen Hart and The Rock are good friends. WWE Producer replied, “Owen used to do the call to the front desk rib with The Rock.” Bruce mentioned that Owen Hart used to call The Great One from his room to the front desk to make a few signs for credit cards and incidentals.

The Rock was unaware of the whole prank situation. So he would go down to the front desk; however, the actual front desk people did not know The Rock’s context of the conversation.

The process was going in a circle, Dwayne Johnson would go back to his room, and he would get another prank call from Owen Hart and tell him if he does not come down at the front desk, the security would remove The Rock from his room. “He [The Rock] goes down; he’s all pissed off. He’s like, Hey! Who the hell is calling me? I just was down here; you said you have my thing and everything, and this guy’s calling me, telling me he’s gonna kick me out of the room,” Vice President Bruce Prichard added.

The Blue Blazer Owen Hart, after ribbing The Rock, would sit in the lobby laughing hard. Before The Rock became a Hollywood megastar, Owen Hart took him under his wing during his rookie year.
