WWE Firing Continues: WWE Releases Top Superstars From Raw and SmackDown

WWE shockingly released some big names like Nia Jax, Karrion Kross, and Keith Lee during their last round of WWE Releases. However, the promotion, yet again, released a handful of superstars on November 18.

During this latest round of releases, WWE has come to terms with – John Morrison, Drake Maverick, Hit Row, Tegan Nox, Shane Thorne, and Jaxson Ryker.

Seeing the former Intercontinental champion, John Morrison, on the list has really shocked the WWE Universe as he had a wonderful thing going on with The Miz since his return to WWE in 2020.

However, these latest ‘budget cuts’ have become a corporate lingo for the company, no matter what the cause. WWE chairman, Vince McMahon, recently announced the most profitable quarter of this year.

Andrew Zarian of ‘Mat Men Podcast’ took to Twitter and noted that some of his inside sources from the company said, “Many within the company were blindsided by this set of releases.”

Why are these WWE Releases not stopping?

Perhaps the biggest question for the WWE Universe is this. Time and time again, the company has made a pattern to release a handful of superstars no matter what the cost.

However, this time there are two superstars on the list who surprise the WWE Universe – John Morrison and Hit Row. The fans on the internet are still livid with this decision.

Many fans speculate that these constant releases from the company are happening because Vince McMahon is thinking about selling the company and releasing superstars to cut costs make sense.

However, WWE vice-president, Nick Khan has denied any possibility that WWE is thinking in this direction. The other reason for these many releases can be the overwhelming WWE roster.
