Jeff Hardy gave his opponent Elias a treat of his own medicine. As the Superstars faced off against each other, things got intense. Although Elias emerged “victorious,” it was Hardy who got the revenge.

Elias performed another song right before the match, again insisting that Hardy hit him with a car months ago, injuring him. However, it was proved that Hardy had nothing to do with the accident.

As the match began, Elias dominated in the nascent stages. He hit a sit-out powerbomb from an electric chair position for a near fall.

Later, Hardy came back with a Whisper in the Wind for a close two-count. Hardy tried to follow it up with a Twist of Fate, but Elias ran from the ring when Hardy went up top for the Swanton.

Elias grabbed his guitar outside the ring, but Hardy took it from him and smashed it across Elias’ back. As a result, Elias won via disqualification.

Considering how Hardy is a face, the guitar-smashing fiasco was uncharacteristic for the Charismatic Enigma. He didn’t even stop there as he continued attacking Elias after the match before officials removed him.

After some hard times and a series of losses, Hardy seemed disappointed in himself. Fans hoped for a new start when Hardy got drafted to Raw.

However, Elias had other things in mind as he came back from his injury and started blaming Hardy for it. This was a part of a previous storyline when Hardy was portrayed as an alcoholic.

Although Hardy was not to blame, Elias thought so and continued the feud. As the duo attacked each other on the Red Brand, the match was scheduled.

Jeff Hardy may have won, but his feud with Elias seems far from over.
