WWE Legend Reveals He Made More Money Thanks to John Cena Than Dwayne Johnson and The Undertaker

WWE will promote wrestlers to become successful future superstars if they sense wrestlers have something exceptional. When thinking about WWE’s biggest moneymakers, John Cena is one of the first names that pop up. Additionally, former WWE manager William Regal had been one of the most prominent names in WWE. Recently, Regal revealed Cena had undoubtedly earned him a lot of money.
On his most recent Gentleman Villain podcast, he said that despite having worked with superstars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, and others. However, the person who had earned him the most money was Cena.

On the podcast, he stated, “I’ve rode on the coattails of all the top people in WCW. But the pay thing was a lot different in WWE. I got paid off the gates. And I was around Steve Austin.”
“I was lucky enough to be on shows with Steve Austin and The Rock and The Undertaker and all these. You know, Shawn Michaels and Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin and all these incredible people. But there’s nobody as made me as much money because of the time period that I was wrestling in the WWE as John Cena, because of longevity.”
He believes that even though there were several really large stars, they all turned in separate directions, but ‘The Champ’ stuck to his plan. He said that he appeared in almost all of Cena’s WWE shows when he was a part of the company.

Well, after in his first WWE run, ‘The Prototype’ excelled at becoming one of the sport’s all-time great wrestlers. Additionally, Cena was the superstar that stood out during WWE’s transition period.
