WWE RAW saw an enormous drop in the ratings for the Monday Night Show. This week’s rating is one of the lowest ever in the Red brand’s history.
To be honest, this week’s RAW was pretty dull apart from the contract signing segment.
There were no championship matches and very few intense moments which doesn’t spell good considering that Extreme Rules is just around the corner.

It paled in comparison to last week’s RAW that had three title matches.
The Nature boy Ric Flair also returned on the show to proclaim Randy Orton as the greatest wrestler ever.
A seasoned WWE fan would tell you that the company is no where close to what it is was in the attitude era.
The product of the shows in the 2010s hasn’t been the same as before.
This is because it has been dominated by the onset of the Parental Guidance (PG) era.
In contrast, the attitude era was brash and rebellious with superstars given the freedom to express themselves in the ring.
The PG era is more heavily scripted where many types of actions, moves, and words cannot be used.
The attitude era also had more realistic characters and everyone did something different because of their personality.
With WWE aiming towards a younger audience, the product has also restricted itself.
WWE RAW viewership drops to third lowest in history
According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s WWE RAW drew 1.735 million viewers, and in the 18-49 rating demographic, the red brand scored 48.
The previous edition of RAW scored 1.922 million viewers and 53 rating.

However, Vince McMahon doesn’t seem likely to opt for that route, as he cannot afford to take the risk of his Superstars getting injured and further decreasing their availability.
