WWE Raw Results: Randy Orton Sets Bray Wyatt on Fire, Multiple Severely Superstars Injured, AJ Style Destroys Sheamus

The latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw: 12th December 2020 brought a varying set of segments to the audience. There was storytelling, matches, fires, and others!

The episode kick-started with The Miz in the middle of the ring holding a book called ‘The Nightmare Before TLC’, which looked like a children’s book.

During this segment, AJ Styles appeared as himself, while John Morrison appeared as Drew McIntyre. The two of them played off a prediction for the upcoming WWE TLC match between Styles and McIntyre. This entire segment was being narrated by The Miz.

While AJ Styles and Morrison were in the middle of their act, Sheamus came out demanding a match. This led the audience to the second bit of the episode – AJ Styles vs Sheamus.

The match was okay. Both Superstars got their respective chances to beat the other. There were jumps, punches, and even trick shots.

At the end, AJ Styles won the match via pinfall.

It was the brief segment after the match that caught the audience’s attention.

Sheamus attacked Styles, who was then hung upside down from the ropes by Omos. ‘The Phenomenal One’ showed no mercy to Sheamus while thrashing him with a steel chair.

The New Day & Jeff Hardy vs The Hurt Business

In the previous episode, Bobby Lashley defeated Jeff Hardy. On the other hand, Kofi Kingston had to battle both Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander back to back.

In this episode, Lashley started the match by taking shots at Xavier Woods. He tried to go as far as using The Hurt Lock at the beginning, but Woods escaped it.

When Kofi Kingston tagged in, all 3 members of The Hurt Business beat him down. With a slight change in luck, Kingston tagged in Hardy who put Cedric Alexander down.

At the end of the match, it was Jeff Hardy against The Hurt Business. Initially, Lashley tried to get a hold of Hardy, but he escaped after elbowing him and sent Lashley into the ring post.

Hardy climbed to the top rope to execute a jump, but Alexander knocked him and Lashley used The Hurt Lock to secure the win.

The Hurt Business won via submission.

Lana vs Nia Jax (WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion)

It goes without saying that almost everyone was worried about Lana going up against Nia Jax. Asuka, Lana’s current tag team partner, did all she could to encourage Lana.

Inside the ring, the match did not last long. Jax tried to use her strength to dominate Lana, but failed. Lana took a shot at Jax, but the latter hung from the ropes. She stomped on her, rolled her over, and secured the win.

Lana defeated Nia Jax via pinfall.

Of course, the Tag Team Champions did not take it well. Shayna Baszler attacked a celebrating Asuka backstage before bringing her wrath down on Lana in the ring.

Jax and Baszler twisted Lana’s elbows, knee, and ankle in every direction possible until Asuka entered the ring to rescue her.

Elias tries to dedicate a song to Lana, WWE 24/7 Champion interrupts

Elias appeared inside the ring, holding his guitar with Jaxson Ryker by his side. He played the guitar to dedicate a song to Lana. At that moment, R-Truth entered the ring to apologize to Elias for interrupting him in the previous episode, while interrupting him again.

After clarifying that Truth will not interfere anymore, Elias went back to the guitar. At this moment, a swarm of Superstars came running out to attack the 24/7 Champion. Ryker protected Elias from the attackers while R-Truth fled backstage.

Keith Lee vs The Miz and Morrison

Keith Lee tossed a coin backstage, asking the other two to make a choice. They chose heads and celebrated after the coin fell their way. Lee told them that’s not all they have secured, indicating at the match.

During the match, Lee tried his best to overcome the combined powers of Morrison and Miz but failed.

The Miz and John Morrison defeated Keith Lee via pinfall.

The Fiend vs Randy Orton

This feud has been going on for a while, and will continue till WWE TLC. In the previous episode, Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House bunny mocked Randy Orton.

In this episode, Bray Wyatt tricked Randy Orton, and The Fiend appeared. However, it did not end well as ‘The Viper’ had some plans of his own.

Mace vs Ricochet

A Retribution appearance is a must during WWE Raw. Therefore, Ricochet and Mace went inside the ring to find out who is better.

Ricochet went to the top of the rope, but Slapjack interrupted him. He managed to knock him away before he had to face T-Bar. Finally, Ali asked Mace to put Ricochet down for good, and he executed that.

Mace defeated Ricochet via pinfall.

 

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions vs. Dana Brooke

Jax ended up creating a disqualification, rendering Brooke the victor.

Dana Brooke won via DQ.

Jax and Baszler teamed up to take down Brooke. However, Mandy Rose appeared to help Brooke. As if this wasn’t enough, Asuka came out to help as well.

MVP vs Riddle

Everyone from The Hurt Business got to perform in-ring, so why not MVP?

He tried to take Riddle down with a series of jabs. Riddle managed to avoid the massive barrage of attacks and used a Floating Bro to secure the win.

Riddle defeated MVP via pinfall.
