WWE SmackDown Results: Team RAW Visits Team SmackDown Ahead of Survivor Series 2020

WWE had its last edition of SmackDown ahead of Survivor Series. The night had its fair share of ups and downs and announcements. Here are the battles that went down on the blue brand.

The New Day and Street Profits defeated Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode, and Baron Corbin

In the first match, the Tag Champions from both brands teamed up to fend off those who doubted their abilities. Both tag teams showed their expertise and proved why they were the champions.

Although Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods fought well, it was Street Profits who scored the victory. Dawkins yanked Zayn into the ring and hit a big Spinebuster. Ford tagged in and hit the big Cash Out splash to Sami for the win.

Both tag teams held their titles up high after the match as they hyped up the match on Sunday.

Adam Pearce then announced the final members of the Survivor Series teams. He chose Otis as the last member of the men’s team. For the women’s team, he included Bayley and sent Natalya to face Tamina for the final spot.

Natalya defeats Tamina Snuka to qualify for team WWE SmackDown

Tamina and Natalya faced each other off as Bianca Belair and Bayley were on the commentary. Belair and Bayley argued who the team captain was as Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott looked on from backstage.

Natalya made Tamina tap out with a quick sharpshooter. All women came into the ring and got ready for the upcoming match to uphold the pride of WWE SmackDown.

Murphy Defeats Seth Rollins on WWE Smackdown

The disciple is finally out of the Messiah’s grasp; it seems. Murphy was accompanied to the ring by the Mysterio Family.

Some time into the match, Rollins threw Murphy outside the ring. While he was attacking his former disciple, Rollins attacked the Mysterios as well.

Towards the end, Rollins went for the Buckle Bomb which made Murphy collapse in front of him. Rollins tried for the Stomp, but Murphy nailed him with a big knee.

Rollins missed another Stomp and connected with another big knee. Murphy capitalized with Murphy’s Law. Rollins was laid out as The Mysterios encouraged Murphy to go for the pin.

Daniel Bryan defeats Jey Uso

Daniel Bryan came back to the blue brand after a vicious attack a few weeks ago. This time, he was facing the attacker, Jey Uso. Although Bryan was in a weakened state, he tried his best to fight off Uso.

Uso kept attacking Bryan, saying “nothing personal.” There were a few close falls as Uso tried to attack the hurt kidneys of Bryan. Bryan tried to win the match with a Yes Lock after following it up with a huge bodyslam from the top rope.

Uso tried to make a comeback into the match but he ultimately failed. Daniel Bryan rolled Uso up for a quick pin as the ThuderDome erupted in Yes chants.

In other segments, Champions from RAW visited the Champs of WWE SmackDown. Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns had a contract signing while Asuka mocked Sasha Banks.
