August 23, 2020 is the date Dominik Mysterio will never forget in his life. After weeks and weeks of build up and sneak attacks, Dominik wrestled his first match ever.

Building up to his match at SummerSlam was an emotional road for Mysterio. We all know about the real life connection between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero.

Just like Superstars such as Sasha Banks and many more, Eddie Guerreo was also one of Dominik’s childhood heros. A day before WWE SummerSlam, Dominik reflected on Eddie’s life and his memories with the Lucha legend.

In a WWE exclusive, Dominik Mysterio shared his memories with the WWE Universe. Dominik spoke about how he wished Eddie was here to see his debut.

After a certain point in the match, Seth Rollins was lying flat on the floor. Dominik Mysterio would then find another way to pay tribute to his childhood hero.

Dominik Mysterio would use the best move in Eddie’s Arsenal. Yes, you guessed it correct. Mysterio delivered a frogsplash on Rollins – a wonderful way to pay his tribute to Eddie Guerrero.

Is Dominik Mysterio a superstar for the future?

Just like a fictional movie, this match had it all – action, drama, emotions and definitley some street fight brutality. Mysterio would not only enter with the blessings of his father but this time even his mother would be at the ThunderDome to support him.

While Dominik wore an attire paying tribute to his father at SummerSlam 2005, Seth Rollins wore an attire of Rey Mysterio’s from Halloween Havoc. However, we all know Rollins wasn’t paying any tribute. Check out the story here.

Dominik’s first full match performance was a decent one. His ring work was not close to his father but the lad is just 23 and for that age, he did pretty well. The best thing for Dominik is that he can only get better from here.

As for Seth Rollins, The Architect deserves massive credit. The Messiah truly is one of the best Superstars of his generation.

This statement doesn’t come just because he won. At the start, Dominik looked a little nervous and off his game. Rollins sold him like a bonafide Superstar.

The match overall was a very good one. It will be intresting to see what is next for this rivalry.
