Ever since it was announced that Brock Lesnar will be back on WWE SmackDown following the uplifting of his suspension, Adam Pearce and The Bloodline looked worried. But another man who had his troubles since Lesnar’s return is Sami Zayn.

Everyone expected Brock to unleash his fury on Roman and Adam Pearce following his return. But that is yet to happen. However, the ‘Beast Incarnate’ caused some damage to the former Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn.

Following his return on SmackDown two weeks ago, Brock pressurized Zayn to face Roman Reigns on that night rather than on the WWE Day 1 PPV. He even assured him that he will have his back during his match against Roman Reigns. But later, he betrayed Zayn by attacking him before the start of the match, handing Reigns an easy title defence.

Is Paul Heyman still working with Brock Lesnar?

The Sami Zayn and Brock Lesnar segment also involved Paul Heyman. Interestingly, the segment might have given us a hint about a betrayal by Paul Heyman in the future. Roman Reigns was not present on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. But Paul Heyman was.

After Sami Zayn announced that he will sue everyone who were responsible for what happened to him last week, Heyman made his way in the ring. But taking advantage of the Tribal Chief’s absence, Sami Zayn tried to attack Heyman.

But guess who came to Heyman’s rescue? It was none other than Brock Lesnar. Not only that, but we also saw how Heyman brought out the fire in Lesnar. As the Beast Incarnate was about to leave the ring along with Zayn to go hunting, Heyman reignited the fire within Brock by reminding him of who Brock Lesnar is.
