Kane registered a characteristically impressive performance in the Royal Rumble match. He entered at #18 and eliminated two men. Ricochet and Dolph Ziggler met their doom at Kane’s hands before Damien Priest tossed him out.

There are many reasons Kane is considered a Royal Rumble legend. Although he has never won the match himself, the Demon has a special connection with the PPV and the match type. In his 24 year career, Kane has entered eighteen Royal Rumble matches.
Along with the most Rumble appearances, Kane also holds the record for the most total eliminations in Rumble history, with an incredible 46. He previously held the record for most eliminations in a single Rumble match, but Roman Reigns broke that record in 2014. Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar would stretch that record to thirteen eliminations.
The closest Kane came to winning the Royal Rumble match was in 2001. He and Stone Cold Steve Austin were the final two men, and both men were favourites to win the match.
