The feud between Adam Cole and Pat McAfee has gotten more serious after just a normal interview breakdown. McAfee was on NXT this week and things didn’t go down well.

This all started a month back when Adam Cole ended his two-week hiatus from WWE TV after his historic loss to Keith Lee. Cole ended his hiatus by appearing on the Pat McAfee interview show.

The interview would start normally with Adam Cole talking about his struggles to get to where he is. However, things got personal when McAfee said Cole’s 403-day run happened mainly because of Undisputed Era having his back.

Post the show Cole shoved a crew member, broke a camera, and said –

“F*** you Pat, seriously I’m sick of your sh**. I come all the way here take time away from my family to come and do your stupid f***ing show and you’re going to continue to disrespect me? F*** you Pat, F*** you.”

Pat McAfee was seen this week on the latest edition of NXT. Prior to the event, it seemed like a happy ending as Cole and McAfee kissed and made up.

Adam Cole and Pat McAfee rivalry is just getting started

In spite of both parties claiming that they had made up, McAfee continued to take shots at Cole from commentary. Cole would then confront McAfee.

The former NFL player would claim that he was joking and call Cole an angry elf. Infuriated, Cole threw water on McAfee which brought Triple H and Shawn Michaels out to control matters.

Officials surrounding both the individuals kept Cole away from McAfee. Instead, McAfee took advantage of that and punted Cole’s head. Triple H would then shove and toss McAfee out of the Performance Center.

Triple H challenges McAfee for a match vs Adam Cole

This morning Triple H was live on GetUpESPN and laid out a challenge to Pat McAfee.

A few hours later, Pat McAfee replied to Triple H’s challenge in his own unique way.
