Can the words of Triple H ring true?
Adam Cole and Finn Balor are currently the best superstars on NXT. It would not be wrong to count them right up there with the very best in the WWE.
Both superstars put in an impressive performance last week in the fatal four-way 60-minute elimination match. They both scored a pinfall in the last 30 seconds to tie their individual score.

A career resurgence for Finn Balor
Finn Balor was destined to be the future of the WWE during his legendary NXT title reign of 292 days in August 2015. This prediction rang true when Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon drafted Finn Balor in the first five picks to Raw.
In a few days’ time, he would defeat Seth Rollins at SummerSlam and become the first-ever Universal championship. Unfortunately, he vacated the title because of a shoulder injury. Balor’s career went down from thereon.
After returning from injury, Balor was never the same. In his three years on the main roster, Balor would be part of mid-card rivalries and sometimes be on kick-off shows of PPV’s.

In 2019, Finn Balor returned home to NXT. However, even then, Balor didn’t get off to an impressive start. He was in mid-card rivalries with Johnny Gargano.
However, one year later, things have now changed and Finn Balor is the new NXT champion. The NXT Universe will await the return of Karrion Kross for a dream contest against ‘The Prince’ Finn Balor.
