Charlotte Flair had a glorious in-ring return at WWE TLC 2020 after almost 6 months of absence. What’s more, she teamed up with RAW Women’s Champion Asuka to win the Women’s Tag Team titles, but also she became the 4th women’s Grand Slam Champion.

During her in-ring return, her father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, was backstage, cheering for her. However, another important man in her life was missing from the arena. We are talking about her boyfriend and fellow WWE Superstar Andrade.

Although he was not present in the arena, Andrade showed his support on social media. He posted a series of tweets, congratulating Charlotte after the match.

Andrade and Flair have been dating since last year and got engaged early in 2020. Due to medical complications, Charlotte spent most of her time with Andrade at home.

Unlike the record times champion Charlotte, Andrade is just starting off his career. He won the United States Championship and NXT Championship previously. Hence, he has a lot more to prove.

“I’ll brag as a fiance [laughs]. What makes Andrade a top talent is he has a Lucha background and many people don’t learn to adapt to WWE’s style.

“And that’s why I think he’s going to go so far and do big things because he has been able to adapt in such a short amount of time and he gets it.”

“And he can do everything from his Lucha background, but that’s not necessarily what the style is or in WWE’s product, and that’s what makes him so special,” Charlotte said.

As Charlotte mentioned, Andrade has a rich Lucha background. So it is highly unlikely that their off-screen romance will seep into the reel as well. However, we never know, anything can happen in WWE.
