One of WWE’s biggest mysteries this year has finally been revealed. On the latest episode of WWE, Retribution Leader Mustafa Ali revealed that he was the Hacker of SmackDown all along!
Following the faction’s loss on their debut match in WWE, Ali spoke on Raw, warning the world about the purpose of the faction and of the times to come.

He then revealed that he was the SmackDown hacker by highlighting what he could do with just a computer and a table. This proved that he was indeed the mystery man, which was also our consensus all along.
A lot of fans assumed that WWE had dropped the entire storyline due to the pandemic. There were plans to make a big reveal on WWE about the hacker which did not materialise. WWE held out to have an audience back which simply did not happen.
All ends have now been tied perfectly as Mustafa Ali confirmed that it was him all along. This is the perfect example of long-term storytelling in WWE. It shows that plans for Retribution were in the making for a long time.

Retribution, according to the storyline, is a group of WWE rejects. They have all been rejected by the writers and have been told that there is no place for them in the company.

Ali has been thrown around ever since his main roster debut. WWE did not really give him a push on SmackDown. He was then transferred to Raw and later competed on WWE Main Event, which confirmed that there was no other place for him to go.
