The latest episode of Monday Night Raw saw the second and final edition of the WWE Draft. Additionally, WWE main-evented the show with a brand-inclusive battle royal to determine the next contender for Asuka’s RAW Women’s Championship. Shockingly, Lana won the match after a series of embarrassments over the past few weeks.

She won the Battle Royal after eliminating her “best friend,” Natalya. After weeks of being put through the announce table, Lana got a title shot for the first time in her career. Post the show, an overwhelmed Lana took to Twitter and posted a message for her fans.

Many believed the match would be a squash, and Nia Jax will further torture her. However, the Ravishing Russian is still happy with the opportunity.

Lana won the Battle Royal out of nowhere

Lana won the match after following a carefully devised strategy. While she let the wolves pick each other out, she came in the end to feast upon the bones.

Tamina was out first, followed closely by Billie Kay. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler took out Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. Baszler threw Jax off the apron, while Peyton Royce was eliminated during a commercial break.

Bianca Belair eliminated Baszler, but she was immediately thrown out by The Riott Squad. The final four ended up being Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Natalya, and Lacey Evans, three of the four having gone undrafted going into the match.

Nattie and Lacey eliminated Liv and Ruby. While it seemed like Natalya had won after taking Evans out, Lana was never eliminated earlier, and she came in to win the match.

However, her best friend, Natalya, was not too happy with Lana. Earlier, she showed her disdain with her and seemingly ended their tag-team.
