WWE Survivor Series is only a few weeks away. Per the tradition, champions from each brand will go up against one another. SmackDown’s Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn, could not be happier about the arrangement.

The Intercontinental Champion will face the United States Champion, Bobby Lashley, from RAW, who defeated Apollo Crews at PayBack. Sami Zayn established himself as the legitimate champion at Clash of Champions after defeating Jeff Hardy.

“It’s a gigantic match between the United States Champion and the Intercontinental Champion,” said Zayn. “It is so perfect that I am the one representing the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Cause quite frankly; there is no one more fitting, no one better, no one more worldly than the Great Liberator Sami Zayn to represent the championship of the continents.”

Sami Zayn claimed people from every continent loved and adored his reign, despite WWE never marketing him as the “People’s Champion.” After this slight jab at Daniel Bryan, Zayn said he is the People’s Champion now.

Sami Zayn reveals why his title is better than Bobby Lashley’s

Sami Zayn kept ranting about how he is loved all over the world. Everywhere he goes, he is a hero because he always speaks his mind.

“The people know that the Great Liberator, Sami Zayn, always tells the truth, always fights for what is right. I represent the people of every country on every continent. Bobby Lashley, well you represent only one country, one country which… let’s not even get into it.”

However, he has a message for Lashley, “Bobby, I’m gonna show you, I’m gonna show the world at Survivor Series something that can be understood in any language in any country anywhere in the world and that is the Intercontinental Champion is greater than the United States Champion.”

Bobby Lashley is yet to answer Zayn’s “claims.” Hopefully, he will give a befitting reply to the Great Liberator on this week’s Monday Night Raw.
