WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bayley, celebrated a major career milestone today. She is currently the longest-reigning Women’s champion on the Blue Brand. This week, she achieved yet another accolade, something she mentioned on social media.

Bayley took to Twitter to celebrate her 500th day as the SmackDown Women’s Champion. She even gave a shout out to WWE commentator Michael Cole. Bayley won the title back in October 2019 after defeating Charlotte Flair on SmackDown.

“500 days as your @WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion – suck it @MichaelCole,” she wrote.

As of this week, Bayley has crossed the 360-day mark in her current title reign. Additionally, she has spent 500 total days with the SmackDown Women’s title with her two combined title reigns.

Bayley’s first reign as the blue brand’s women’s champion began on May 19, 2019, at Money In the Bank. She defeated Charlotte Flair by cashing in her Money In the Bank contract. Just before the cash-in, Flair had defeated Becky Lynch for the title.

Flair won the title a few months later at Hell In a Cell on October 6, 2019, but Bayley began her current reign on the October 11, 2019, SmackDown episode by defeating Flair again.

There is a high chance that the champion may lose her beloved title. WWE has announced that Sasha Banks will take on Bayley for the Championship. The duo has been feuding since the past month after Bayley attacked Banks at Payback.

Sasha has already threatened Bayley that the champion does not stand a chance against her. While WWE has a tendency to shift titles after a significant milestone, they might want to continue this rivalry for the foreseeable future.

The creative teams might stretch the feud to Hell in a Cell. Perhaps, they would fight inside the Cell structure, marking the third overall cell match from the women’s division. It even has the potential to become the main event of the upcoming PPV on October 25.
