However, this is not the first time that Drew Gulak has been at the receiving end of Braun Strowman’s severe blows.

Even previously, when Drew Gulak and Jey Uso tried to help Strowman following Retribution’s attack, it did not end well for them. Staying true to his heel character, Braun Strowman poured out his wrath on Gulak and Uso.

However, at that point Drew Gulak was taken aback by this reaction. In an interview, he expressed that the champion should not send out the wrong message. Hence, when all he did was help Strowman, the Monster Among Men should have responded appropriately.

“We sent those dudes back and, but then Braun, (laughs), man I tried to help him up. He’s our Champion, right? I was trying to the right thing, help him up. He turns around and clobbers me. That’s not how a Champion has to be, but Braun, I’ll tell you what man, dude, Braun, if you want to fight, you know where to find me. I’m not hard to find. Okay? That’s all I’m saying.”

This was before Braun Strowman lost his Universal Championship title to The Fiend at WWE SummerSlam 2020.
