One of WWE’s deadliest pay-per-views, Hell in a Cell, is only a few days away. In a rare turn of events, this year’s pay-per-view will have three Cell matches. However, it seems one of the title defenders, Bayley, is not quite okay with the arrangement.

As seen in a recent tweet, Bayley is still in denial about her Cell match this Sunday. She shared a screenshot of the match announcement and said it is nothing but a “false advertisement.”

Bayley’s “denial” is nothing new. As we saw earlier, she is not ready or eager to face Banks in a normal match, let alone in the steel structure. After Banks made her return at Clash of Champions, Bayley looked like she had seen a ghost.

Coming from the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, this behavior is surprising. Last week on SmackDown, Bayley did not want to sign the official contract for the Cell match.

Bayley wants nothing to do with Sasha Banks

The SmackDown Women’s Champion was best friends with Sasha Banks for most of her career. The duo even held the Women’s Tag Team titles for most of the year.

However, Bayley thought Banks was not up to the mark as she lost her RAW Women’s Title to Asuka at SummerSlam. Then the duo lost their tag titles to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at Payback. After the loss, Bayley attacked Banks with a steel chair and injured her neck.

The attacks continued for a few weeks before Banks retaliated and attacked her former best friend at Clash of Champions. Since then, Banks has been warning Bayley that she will take her title and show the world who the real loser was.

However, the champion could not digest the fact and chose to live in denial rather than taking up the challenge like a Champion. This will be Bayley’s first match inside the steel structure, whereas it will be Banks’ third.

Why do you think Bayley denies the upcoming match’s existence? Is it plain fear or something else? Let us know in the comments below.
