WWE hit the jackpot by putting Roman Reigns and Jey Uso against each other for the upcoming WWE Clash of Champions. Every segment, promo, or even reference to the match has been exhilarating for fans. Therefore, when Uso came out to the ring on Friday Night SmackDown to interview his cousin, nobody could contain their excitement.

Jey Uso strutted his way to the ring and asked interviewer Corey Graves to take the night off. Uso wanted some answers tonight and he would not relent until Roman opened up his mind.

It started off with Uso asking Reigns about his angry look following last week’s tag team battle. Unfortunately, Paul Heyman made it very clear that the ‘Big Dog’ answers when he wants, and definitely not when somebody else demands an answer out of him.

However, Uso was determined to make Roman speak tonight, no matter what.

Roman Reigns puts Jey Uso back in his place

Towards the latter half of SmackDown, Reigns finally came out to the ring. Right when Paul Heyman was about to give one of his famous speeches, Uso interrupted him. Post this, the WWE Universal Champion did exactly what he does best – show Jey Uso where he belongs.

Roman Reigns made it crystal clear to his cousin that the responsibility and pressure that comes with being #1 is something Uso cannot handle. In fact, Uso will always remain one half of the greatest Tag Team Champions of the generation, but he will never be at the top of the mountain. Reigns’ heel turn became increasingly visible as he took a jibe at Jey Uso being a twin and devoid of his individuality.

However, Uso did not stand down.

While Reigns was walking back, Uso questioned him. As per him, nobody asked Reigns to be the one to provide for the family. If the title feeds, then whoever holds the title can be the feeder.

There is absolutely no reason that he needs to spend the rest of his life watching everyone admire Roman Reigns as Champion and Tribal Chief while he is always asked – “Which one are you?”

He guaranteed that following Clash of Champions, he will be known as the Superstar who beat Roman Reigns. Nobody will question which half of the twins he is, because they will know.

Interestingly, after Jey Uso finished his segment, both Reigns and him walked back. By now, Uso should know better than to turn his back. He turned his back for one second to address the audience and out came Roman Reigns with a superman punch, dropping him to the floor.

The Big Dog has made it to the evil side

Reigns showed the title Uso, reminding him that if he wants the title, he will need to take the beating that comes with it. With this act, it can be assumed that Reigns has made his transition to the evil side.

“I don’t just feed my kids with this title, I don’t just feed your kids with this title. I feed a whole family with this title. Our family needs me to have this title and you want to take it from me? You’re gonna take your pay day. You’re gonna take the a** whooping that comes with it but you will never take this title. You will never take my place at the head of the table.”

This promo was probably one of the best that WWE has seen in a while. As a matter of fact, it touched upon the emotional and vengeful sides of Uso at the same time.

It’s probable that Clash of Champions will break records, given the buildup. This family affair will be one that WWE remembers for a very long time.
