WWE Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn, rarely breaks character. His “outspoken” and often considered loudmouth gimmick is both loved and hated by the WWE fans. However, he recently broke his character after WWE SmackDown.

The duo had a great match (which did not end as planned). After the match, Zayn took to Twitter and praised the “People’s Champion.” Not only did he call the match a “privilege,” but he also said, “He is, in my opinion, the best in-ring performer of our generation.”

After the match, we saw Jey Uso attack Bryan backstage and kept him occupied. Zayn’s long-time friend, Kevin Owens, and some referees came and separated the two. Here are some highlights from Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan’s match.
