The New Day has been one of the most successful stables in the WWE in recent times.

The charismatic Superstars have always been fun to watch in the arena. Last night on SmackDown, Big E came in with a rather interesting entrance; rolling down to the ring.

The entrance was funny by all means and WWE decided to join the fun on Instagram.

The New Day on a collision course

Kofi Kingston and Shinsuke Nakamura arguably delivered the match of the night. That’s saying something considering the card also featured Matt Riddle vs John Morrison and Drew Gulak vs AJ Styles.

The interesting bout saw Nakamura pick up the win via pinfall.

The result was expected given Nakamura’s run and the current condition of Kofi Kingston.

Kofi’s big push came to an end at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar defeated the then WWE Champion within minutes of the matchup.

Now, The New Day is back on track as the SmackDown Tag-Team Champions.  They will be defending their titles against Cesaro and Nakamura on next week’s Friday Night SmackDown.

Cesaro and Nakamura could capture the titles given the fact that they have impressed one and all with their incredible chemistry.

Additionally, the WWE Tag-Team division has not been given any importance as of late.

The writers have massively failed to utilize tag-team talents. So a brief change of titleholders in the coming days won’t be surprising.

The New Day has been holding the fort for a while now. They are a record six-times SmackDown tag-team Champions.

WWE has been cashing in on the team for such a long time because of their fan base. Will WWE change tracks now? Let’s wait and find out.

Cesaro and Nakamura – the underrated talents

Perhaps the biggest mystery is why WWE is underutilizing such Superstars.

Both Cesaro and Nakamura are top performers in the company. They are now put together as a team.

This has been widely talked about especially given the fact that both have really excelled in singles competition.

WWE pitching them together was a shot in The dark at first but has yielded immense benefits.

If they want to cash in on them, a change of title on next week’s SmackDown would be a great start.
