Jey Uso is not really having a stellar time on his first day in Roman Reigns‘ Tribe. First, he was insulted by Kevin Owens and Kayla Braxton, and now, his own family is restricting his ways on SmackDown.

The night started with Kevin Owens cracking jokes on Uso’s position in the family. When Uso asked if Owens was making fun of him, Owens clarified that it was all in a good spirit and without malice.

In fact, he wanted to befriend Jey before their Survivor Series match. However, seeing Uso’s attitude, Owens backed off.

After the ‘meeting’ with Owens, Jey Uso went in for an interview with Kayla Braxton. She asked Uso about his heel turn on Daniel Bryan after last week’s match.

Uso said that it wasn’t personal and was just meant to protect his family. All of a sudden, Paul Heyman appeared and asked if Reigns had authorized the interview.

Heyman told Uso that Reigns wanted to see him, and they better not keep him waiting. Kayla commented on Reigns and Uso, saying Heyman had a better spot in the family than Jey. The young Samoan didn’t like what she had to say for the second time in this interview and asked her if she was “still throwing shade.”

Heyman and Uso then met Reigns in his locker room. Although Heyman respected what Uso was trying to do, he stated that whatever Uso does; he needed to get Reigns’ approval. Uso couldn’t believe he had to get permission from his cousin to appear in an interview on TV.

Heyman asked Jey to stay outside in the hallway, as he went in to check on the Universal Champion. Reigns came back out and asked Uso why he was talking to Kayla in the first place.

Reigns said there’s a chain of command. Uso had to come to him first and if he couldn’t find him, he had to go to Heyman next. Reigns truly made it seem as if Heyman had more importance than Uso in the family, as Kayla said earlier. Reigns inquired about Owens’ jokes and deduced he was making fun of the Family.

Uso said he was going to handle it. After Uso left, Reigns asked Heyman if he knew about this, who replied in the negative.

Reigns was upset because Heyman could not do his job and told him to find WWE Producer Adam Pearce so that he could handle the KO problem. Later, SmackDown announced a Kevin Owens vs. Jey Uso match for the main event.
