Roman Reigns will take on Jey Uso at Clash of Champions and will defend his WWE Universal Championship. However, that doesn’t seem to be the only thing in the books. It can’t be, right?

There has been a lot of speculation over the simplicity of the storyline for Roman Reigns taking on someone like Uso. At first, we thought that it was a blood feud involving the Anoa’i family.

Now, we’re starting to think there’s something bigger on the cards, and we’ll probably never see it coming. Roman Reigns could be ambushed by his former rival “The Fiend” during or after his match against Uso.

Fans started these speculations after Alexa Bliss gave “The Big Dog” a dirty look from behind his back as he raised his belt on SmackDown.

Alexa is apparently ‘influenced’ by “The Fiend” and he works his dark deeds through her. The look towards Roman Reigns was probably due to the fact that he took the title away from “The Fiend” at Payback.

“The Fiend” wants revenge against Roman Reigns

Reigns left his foe in the dust after an ambush at SummerSlam and a subsequent demolition at Payback. Now, it seems as though the old demons are coming back to haunt him.

Reigns needs to watch out for the darkness of “The Fiend”. This time, he has Roman where he wants him rather than at SummerSlam when the roles were reversed. We cannot discard the possibility of “The Fiend” showing up.

This would also propel the feud between Reigns and Bray Wyatt, which would be major viewership for SmackDown.

Although this may be exciting, it all comes as a heartbreak to a lot of fans. The reason for this is that thousands want to see Roman follow this Anoa’i family storyline which leads up to a major WrestleMania showdown against The Rock himself.

In short, “The Fiend” making an appearance would be popcorn, but Reigns continuing the current storyline would be an opportunity for a blockbuster WrestleMania This certainly is a tough choice for any fan.
