Things went really well for Murphy on this week’s WWE SmackDown. Not only did he get the approval of the Mysterio Family but he also taught his “Messiah” Seth Rollins a lesson.

After a defeat from Rey Mysterio in the “Final Chapter” of the rivalry and a “betrayal” from his disciple, Rollins was not happy. He stormed to Adam Pearce’s office and demanded a rematch. It seems he got his way as WWE has announced a match between Rollins and Murphy to settle their feud, once and for all.

The official announcement stated, “After Murphy betrayed Seth Rollins by helping Rey Mysterio triumph over The SmackDown Savior in a brutal No Holds Barred Match, Rollins has demanded a one-on-one match with his former disciple. Considering that the irate Rollins will be out of payback, does Murphy have what it takes to overcome The Architect?”

After SmackDown, we expect the Mysterio Family to be on the ringside.

Last week, Murphy tricked Seth Rollins into believing he is still loyal to him. After Rollins accepted the “No Holds Barred” challenge, Murphy knew what he had to do.

This week, the entire Mysterio Family was at ringside to support Rey. Murphy came to the ring with Rollins and stood in his corner, but ended up turning on him and helping Mysterio win the match.

The Mysterio Family then shook hands with Murphy and gave their approval for the Murphy – Aaliyah Mysterio relationship. It is great to see Murphy getting a singles push along with an alliance with one of the wrestling royalties.
