The Celtic warrior made some controversial comments about Hardy’s addiction issues.

On the 29th May edition of SmackDown, The charismatic enigma was accused of drunk driving his car into Elias.

The two faced off at Backlash with Sheamus beating Hardy. However, the feud didn’t end there.

The following weeks on SmackDown, the Irish Wrestler would refer to Hardy as a junkie.

Sheamus was then absent from SmackDown tapings for a couple of weeks.

However, that didn’t stop him from targeting and publicly speaking about Hardy’s personal demons. Back home from Ireland, Sheamus hosted a toast to Jeff Hardy.

The segment had alcohol all over the ring to poke the wrestler about his past. Unfortunately, the bar tender would face the wrath of the charismatic enigma.
