Randy Orton Takes a Dig at Roman Reigns After his WWE Return

Roman Reigns made an emphatic return to the WWE after months. The Big Dog was last seen a week before WrestleMania 36. The COVID-19 pandemic affected the world and WWE had given the option to their talent to stay at home if they wished, instead of forcing them.

Reigns opted to stay home as his chances of catching the virus would be higher due to his past struggles with Leukemia. After six whole months, Roman Reigns made a huge return at SummerSlam.

The WWE Universe was roaring after Reigns’ return. As the WWE Universe was erupting on social media, Randy Orton welcomed Roman Reigns in a slightly different manner.

Twitter Erupts as Roman Reigns Ambushes The Fiend at WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns is not the guy, he is not a good guy…. He is the bad guy

Reigns caught the WWE Universe by surprise when he showed up at SummerSlam. Interestingly, this time he wasn’t the nice superhero fighting the tough guys. In fact, he came back with a much different identity.

Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman in an intensly physical match. However, his celebrations were cut short by the Juggernaut.

Reigns would spear Wyatt and then assault Strowman with chair shots. He emulated every word on his t-shirt – “wreck everything & leave.”

Reigns would re-enter the ring and spear Wyatt one more time. He would then hold the Universal Championship high up, making his intentions and targets clear.

Reigns is currently due a shot at the Universal Championship. He was scheduled to face Goldberg at WrestleMania 36. However, he withdrew his name due to the pandemic.

That opportunity fell in the lap of Braun Strowman. Strowman would capatalize and then win the Universal Championship. ‘The Monster Among Men’ held onto the title until his loss to Bray Wyatt.

A triple threat match for the Universal Championship between Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns looks like a huge possiblity. Only time will tell how WWE goes about this rivalry.
