Recently, UFC lightweight division fighter Terrance McKinney took a shot at Dwayne Johnson by tweeting about the deal between Project Rock and the UFC. He replied to a fan who had replied to his previous tweet on the social media platform.

A fan asked him about the backlash he could face if he tweets about the deal and Under Armour’s Project Rock. However, McKinney stated being ready to face the backlash and criticism over his tweet. Furthermore, he just wanted Johnson to pay the fighters to promote his brand.

He wrote, “I gotta risk it I can’t sit around and let stuff like this happen to us @TheRock is literally no different than the faceless company crypto .com except they don’t pretend to care about fighters I was hopin Dwayne would be different that his nice guy thing was real”

McKinney wasn’t happy with what was going on. He also told about Sports Illustrated writing an article on the issue and hence, it became big. However, the WWE legend didn’t reply even though he was active on Twitter.

McKinney understands The Rock is just doing business. However, the 28-year-old UFC fighter feels Johnson should make some changes in the deal and pay the fighters to promote his footwear.

What did Terrance McKinney tweet about Dwayne Johnson?

A few days ago, McKinney tweeted about Dwayne Johnson’s Project Rock and UFC deal. He replied to a tweet from ‘Bloody Elbow’ about Project Rock’s deal, not paying the UFC Fighters to wear the brand’s footwear.

In the tweet, he asked Johnson humbly to be in support of the fighters. McKinney said if ‘The Great One’ respects the sport, then he should have made a proper deal that would be profiting everyone.
