Alexa Bliss Breaks Character in Surprising Dig at Ronda Rousey’s Booking: “I Still Have to Work on Me”

This year’s Women’s Royal Rumble was full of surprises. We saw many legends and superstars returning at the Royal Rumble. One of them was Ronda Rousey, who made her comeback after three years and won this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble. Now, ‘Rowdy’ will announce her opponent for WrestleMania 38 on the upcoming episode of RAW.
Rousey entered the Rumble at number 28 and eliminated four superstars. There were rumors of Ronda Rousey returning at the Royal Rumble, however, nothing was confirmed. Therefore, when ‘Rowdy’ appeared in the arena, fans were ecstatic to see the legendary superstar.
Rousey performed admirably in the match and eventually won it. Following her victory, fans and other wrestlers from around the globe congratulated Ronda for her victory.

One such individual was WWE superstar Alexa Bliss, who posted a unique Tweet after Ronda Rousey’s win. It was a GIF quoting “What a Surprise”. H/T WrestlingInc.

She quickly deleted that GIF tweet and posted another tweet, clarifying herself. The Tweet said, “That’s the surprise! I still have to work on me.” Alexa Bliss returned on the 10th January 2022 episode of RAW and is in therapy sessions segments since then.

She also congratulated Ronda Rousey in another tweet which stated, “So great to see everyone in the rumble! Congrats to Ronda!”

Alexa wasn’t a participant in this year’s Royal Rumble, but the tweet hinted at Alexa taking a shot at Ronda Rousey. This can be something that could eventually lead to a feud between the two superstars.

Both Alexa Bliss and Ronda Rousey feuded with each other in the year 2018 over the RAW Women’s Championship. It was Ronda’s first year in WWE and Alexa was the Champion. Ronda won the title from Alexa at SummerSlam and the pair fought for the title till Hell in a Cell that year.

Alexa Bliss could not win against Rousey that year. So, we can speculate that Alexa is taking a shot at Ronda following her return.
