R-Truth, real name Ronnie Aaron Killings, was set back again because of another surgery. Last year in November, the wrestling veteran injured himself during a match for which he had to undergo surgery. But that was not it.

Unfortunately, the 50-year-old veteran had to undergo one more surgery in order to heal his injured leg completely. The good news is that fans can expect to see The 2-Time WWE United States Champion back in action sooner than expected.

R-Truth gave updates on his health status

Speaking in a YouTube live stream on Sunday, the American professional Wrestler and Rapper told his fans about his second surgery. He said that he is “still healing up” from his “quad injury.” He confirmed that he is going to return to the squared circle. And it is only a matter of time before that happens.

Speaking further, Truth revealed to his fans that he had to undergo “two surgeries.” The first one was on November 8, 2022, for his torn quad and the second one was because his injured leg had “caught an infection.”

R-Truth’s leg injury

On November 1, 2022, The 2-Time WWF Hardcore Champion faced Grayson Waller in the opening match of NXT. Everything was going all good and then Truth threw Waller out of the ring to execute a flying move on him.

Unfortunately for the former WWE 24/7 Champion, when he hit Waller with a dive, the 220-pounder landed awkwardly, resulting in a leg injury, a torn quad tendon in his left leg to be exact. The paramedics immediately came to attend to the injured star and took him backstage.
