According to Bolin, several OVW stars were to attend a Cincinnati Reds baseball game. They all sat in the car to reach their destination. Then Batista asked Bolin if he could give him a ride to the baseball game.

Bolin, in response to Batista (as a joke), said, “‘Dave, I don’t think we’ve got room for you in the car. I think we can take that cute little girl to Cincinnati with us.’ [John] Cena’s laughing, Rico’s laughing, like she’s [obviously not] gonna dump Batista for me.”

Hearing this, Bolin said, “It’ll never f*cking happen again.” After that, Bolin decided to “never speak” to Batista again.
