WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H, real name Paul Michael Levesque, is a huge fan of boxing, and multiple times has professed his love for the sport. The former WWE superstar has been in attendance for many boxing events to enjoy the show in the arena. Four years ago, The Game was present during the fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. The match that “piqued people’s interest” took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on December 1, 2018.
The memory of the match lived in the mind of HHH quite vividly, as he spoke about it in an interview two years later. According to the 53-year-old, both contenders were equally good at giving each other cutthroat competition.

Triple H on Tyson Fury’s resurrection
While speaking during the interview with BT Sport, HHH compared Fury’s resurrection to The Undertaker‘s move, by saying, “In a moment, that will think it was scripted in our business of The Undertaker, sitting up after being destroyed, like nothing happened to him.”
In the twelfth round, the undefeated challenger was “dominating”. He was fighting with his hands behind his back. The defending WBC heavyweight champion was having difficulty making a move on Fury.

The crowd was guessing whether Wilder was having trouble attacking his opponent or he was “patiently” waiting for the right time to strike. It was in the 12th round that Wilder landed a forceful blow to his opponent’s face that made Fury fall down on the mat.
It looked like Wilder had secured the win because Fury wasn’t moving after taking the punch. But just as everyone thought the match was over, Tyson stood up on his feet. He continued fighting and ended up winning the 12th round.

This moment made The Game feel like one of The Undertaker’s moves from WWE. The Undertaker lays down like a dead man and suddenly wakes up to crush his opponent. The same way the former unified heavyweight champion rose from a fatal attack like nothing happened.
The King of Kings spoke highly of Tyson Fury
HHH, during the same interview, also stated that Fury got a “ton of charisma. He’s kind of one of those guys that you can help but feel good about him and what he’s been able to put behind him, and everything that it took to get where he is.”
