Xbox Games for Live Gold Members for January 2021 Have Been Revealed

2020 has been an exceptional year for video games, and the beginning of a new year is just around the corner. As usual, the onset of a new month will bring heaps of new games for players with an Xbox Live Gold membership.
Xbox has officially revealed the list of games for January 2021, and it looks pretty interesting. The membership is offering players four video games hailing from different genres.
The four free video games for January 2021 are:

- Little Nightmares
- The King of Fighters XIII
- Dead Rising
- Breakdown
In addition, these games will be playable across several Xbox platforms owing to the console’s stance on backward compatibility. However, these games will only be available for a limited time. The first two games will be available through January 1, while the latter two will appear on January 16.

Little Nightmares
The game will be available from January 1 to 31. The title is quietly smart and reconnects the players with their childhood. Play as ‘Six’ who needs to survive the attack from The Maw.

Dead Rising
The title will be available from January 16 to February 15. It is essentially a remaster of the original title that came out in 2006. It boasts massive visual and performance enhancements, bringing the resolution and frame rate up to 1080p and 60fps, respectively.
CS: GO Crisis Escalates as Another Legend Makes a Switch to Valorant
The principal aim is to survive the attack of a horde of hungry zombies. The players get access to an array of weapons to fulfill this aim. Not only that, but they also need to decipher the reason behind the outbreak which binds all the elements of the title together.
The King of Fighters XIII
The title will be available on Xbox via backward compatibility from January 1 to 15. It is an upgraded version of the classic. The events in the game are set after The King of Fighters XI and also concludes Ash Crimson’s story, which started with the King of Fighters 2003.

The game received positive reviews for including more content than the previous titles. This includes new characters, stages, and game modes.

This title, too, will be available owing to backward compatibility from January 16 to 31. Derrick Cole is the nucleus of the game who is trapped inside a mysterious lab and doesn’t remember a thing from his disturbing past.

However, he now has a set of superpowers to help him accomplish his task. The players combine hand to hand combat with interesting weapons to look for the truth in this first-person action-adventure title.
As already mentioned, these titles are available only for a short duration. The players need to purchase the Xbox Live Gold subscription, which costs $9.99 a month and also allows the players to access multiplayer online gaming, much like the PS+ subscription for PlayStation users.
