Having a strong serve in tennis is very important. And over the years we have seen a lot of great servers like Ivo Karlovic, Goran Ivanisevic, Pete Sampras, etc. So German legend Boris Becker surprisingly has labeled Nick Kyrgios as the best server right now.
Kyrgios sends in some of the fastest and accurate serves. Often clocking more than 137 mph. He racks up a lot of aces in a match. He is strong in holding his service games and often saves breakpoints with his accurate and fast serves. His fastest serve came in the 2019 Wimbledon at 143 mph.

Boris Becker currently is coaching online on the website Top Level Tennis. And during one session, he said that the purest server in today’s game is an Australian. Indicating that Kyrgios on his day is the best server currently.
“The purest server in today’s game is an Australian. Forget the rest, just the serve. He is the best server, if it’s just the serve, in today’s game” Boris said

Recently the two had a feud on twitter over the Australian’s comments on the Adria Tour. But it seems that Boris hasn’t paid heed to the feud and moved on.
Kyrgios is also known for cheekily delivering an under-arm serve. It is a valid serve but many players don’t attempt as to some it may be unethical and an act of disrespect. Although it is a tricky serve and a good deception can easily win you a point. Kyrgios is very good at deceiving the opponent with the underarm serve. Whereas over the years many have tried it but have failed.
