Recently, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady visited the Forman School in Connecticut. The sole purpose of the visit was to congratulate the graduating class of 2020. This comes on the back of Patrick Mahomes delivering a heartfelt message to his alma mater.

The former New England Patriots quarterback also graced the students with an inspiring address. He urged the graduates to embrace adversity, citing the coronavirus pandemic as an example of a challenge that the students will face.

“We’ve all had our difficult times overcoming different adversities and challenges that we’re facing, and this one is no different,” Brady said. “I think what you understand when you’re going through things like this is you learn from them and you make the best of them.”

What else did Tom Brady say?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recruit also spent time reminiscing about his own career. He spoke about all the obstacles he faced and overcame during his journey to the top. His rise was so meteoric that he went from the No. 199 overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft to a six-time Super Bowl champion.

In fact, many consider Tom Brady as arguably the greatest QB of all time. The 42-year-old stressed the importance of putting 100 percent effort into everything one hopes to accomplish in life.

“Your future is going to be what you make of it,” Brady said. “Because you ‘re not going to be able to rely on people to do things for you. That’s not the way life is. If you want to be great at something, you’re going to have to put all your commitment and effort and discipline into doing just that.”

For the moment, Tom Brady and all the NFL players and staff are waiting for the season to begin. Admittedly, the COVID-19 pandemic has put a damper on everyone’s plans. However, he recently took part in a charity golf match against Phil Mickelson, Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods.
