During the LA Derby in the MLS, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was just being Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Derby itself ended in a stalemate, with both sides scoring three goals each. Star striker Ibrahimovich came away with a brace, with Cristian Pavon providing the third goal.

On the other side of the pitch, Latif Blessing scored a brace, with Carlos Vela equalising late in the game. Some time during the match, Zlatan gave away a free kick and was booked for his wild effort. While the Galaxy wall was sorting itself out, the Swede grabbed teammate Sebastian Lletget and shoved him aside.

Unfazed, Lletget went to mark another player, away from the wall. Evidently, the ball was successfully blocked, as the incident took place in the 85th minute and the teams were already level at 3-3.

The incident actually brought back memories of a similar incident involving Kalidou Koulibaly and Kylian Mbappe. That particular incident took place during a Champions League Group stage match between Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain.

At the time, Koulibaly actually shoved teammate Marco Rui towards Mbappe in a desperate attempt to stop him.

Coming back to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, this brace was a massive boost for him, in his rivalry with Carlos Vela. What gave Zlatan bragging rights, was the fact that his brace came in the span of 15 minutes. It was also worth noting that all of LA Galaxy’s goals came in the first half.

Of course, being Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he could not resist taunting the LAFC crowd, every time he scored. Though they got their revenge after the first goal, the Swedish player answered right back.

Of course, after the match, he crowed on social media that he is Los Angeles.
