Tiger Woods, the five-time green jacket winner, since the car crash, hasn’t competed on any of the Tours. Even though he can walk without crutches, Tiger still believes he doesn’t have the strength to walk 72 holes.
“I haven’t prepared for any of that. Going for a walk, I can do that. Am I going to be sore? Hell, yeah, but I can do that,” said Woods. However, when asked if that was something he was planning to do this year? “I can do that now. Whether I do that or not, I don’t know,” concluded Tiger.
“I can walk the par 3,” revealed Tiger. “Well, I can walk that now.” Furthermore, he said it is a practice round, and there isn’t much pressure around. However, when it comes to competing, it takes a toll on not only physical but also mental, for which he isn’t prepared yet.
It is still very unclear whether Tiger will be making a comeback and compete at the par-3 contest this year. However, he has not completely denied his presence at the Augusta National. So it will be interesting to see how things unfold as we get closer to the iconic event, The Masters 2022.
