In her recent episode on the podcast ‘Playing a round with Paige Renee’, Spiranac discussed the possibility of current PGA Tour golfers switching to LIV golf. While a host of names were mentioned, Fowler’s introduction emanated a series of discussions.

"When you think of the face of the PGA Tour, a lot of people are gonna go to Rickie Fowler. And so with him moving over to LIV, that’s gonna be a huge loss for the PGA Tour.”  said Paige.

Among players who are still a part of the PGA Tour, Paige felt Fowler would be the worst hit when it comes to commercial endorsements in recent years.

Fowler has fallen off the grid in recent years. He plummeted from No.10 in the world in May 2019 to a current rank of 173, his lowest ranking in more than 12 years. His last win came three years ago at the 2019 Phoenix Open.

However, despite receiving offers from the LIV Golf series, Fowler has stayed on the PGA Tour. He didn’t make the cut for the season-ending BMW Championship after finishing a lowly T64. How long will this loyalty last, is a question which remains unanswered at this moment in time.
