To get inducted into the World Golf Hall of fame is a dream for every golfer. And Tiger Woods will receive the prestigious honor in the male competitor category.
Tiger Woods has won 109 professional events. He is still the youngest ever to claim the Grand Slam of golf. The 15-time Major winner is the only player to hold all four majors at the same time. Woods is also the first African or Asian heritage golfer to win a major.
Along with Woods, three others will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year; Late Marion Hollins, Susie Maxwell Berning, and Tim Finchem.
Tim Finchem the former PGA Tour commissioner will be the 10th administrator to get inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was elected through the contributor category.
NBC and Golf Channel analyst David Feherty will host the Hall of Fame event. Golf Channel will live telecast the program at 7 pm ET on March 9. As usual, the PGA Tour’s ‘Global Home’ headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, will host the event.
