Dominique Wilkins delves into current dunk contests

Wilkins recently explained the reasons why great athletes like Ja Morant, Zion Williamson, Giannis, Lebron James, and Russell Westbrook no longer take part in dunk competitions in an interview with VladTV. He said that the competitors do not do so out of fear.

Wilkin's Explains

I think the problem is that I don’t think anybody want to know who the best is,” remarked Wilkins. “We wanted to know who the best one Michael and I went head up we wanted to know who the best was, and it really wasn’t about us, it was about the fans you know.
