News of Khabib Nurmagomedov Asking $5 Million for Grappling Match Against Georges St-Pierre Leaves the Internet Divided

MMA artist Gunnar Nelson recently had a discussion with BJJ icon Craig Jones where the latter spilled beans about Nurmagomedov’s monetary demand for grappling match against George’s St. Pierre. The Dagestani star left the sport at the peak of his career for personal reasons. 

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s $5 million demand

During the conversation, BJJ icon Craig Jones revealed, “I remember I was with the Fight Pass guys. They were trying to ask me about opponents for GSP for ideas and I had no idea who it would be.” 

Further, he added, “I was just like–I don’t know! But I remember–obviously, I said Khabib. I think they said Khabib wanted five million dollars to do the grappling match.”
