“Depends on the People”- Pokimane Hasn’t Ruled Out Dating a Fan as She Gives Her Viewers Hope

Pokimane has made a name for herself as one of the top female Twitch streamers in the world. The Moroccan-Canadian content creator has streamed a lot over the years playing multiple video game titles with her friends. This includes her crew in OfflineTV which also houses other star creators like Disguised Toast, Michael Reeves and many more.

Earlier this year, she almost broke the internet after revealing that she was single. She stated that she wasn’t looking for anything. But many of her followers would love to go on a date with her as she is quite pretty while being a successful streamer. It seemed like she is part of the countless celebrities around the globe who would never want to date a fan. However, she recently revealed that it might not be the case.

Pokimane wouldn’t mind dating a fan

During a recent Just Chatting stream, Pokimane talked about dating in her life. She noted that she wouldn’t mind dating a fan at all, unlike other celebrities. Poki observed that it’s alright to have a relationship with someone who knows and appreciates her work. She also mentioned that she would want them to date her because they get along and not because of her popularity,

“If you happen to meet someone who knows who you are, likes what you do, and you get along, and they don’t only like you because of your clout, that’s a little bit different.”

Many celebrities believe that it feels weird for them to date someone who might be a bit obsessed with their work. However, Pokimane felt that certain situations allow people to have a relationship with their ardent fans. However, in the end, she believed that situations like this mostly depend on the person.

“It depends on the situation. But ultimately it depends on the people.”

Poki wouldn’t want something inappropriate

However, her feelings on this matter doesn’t mean that fans should try to ask her out. She clearly mentioned that she doesn’t want a person that might be looking for something inappropriate. This would mean that she probably wouldn’t date someone who might want to ‘suck the crust off her toenails and digest it for the rest of their lives’.

“It’s things that most experienced, average people who aren’t looking for anything inappropriate would know.”

It’s a slippery slope for streamers or celebrities to date their fans. However, if the person and the situation is right, then they shouldn’t have a problem with it. However, fans of Pokimane shouldn’t consider these statements to be an invitation to ask her out, and it’s probably better to not disturb her by sending weird requests.
