Wrexham’s home ground STōK Cae Ras is not just an attractive destination for players but for sponsors as well. It was last year around this time that the Welsh side announced a landmark deal with United Airlines. This would see the Airline become the front-of-shirt sponsor for Ryan Reynolds’ side. The first series of kits since this agreement was dapper looking and a big hit among supports. Yet, if the concept kit on social media is anything to go by, the kits for 2024/25 could be even better!

X account Craig Jones has just revealed concept kits for Wrexham’s home and away kits for the upcoming campaign. The home kit features the familiar Macron Red color but it manages to look so different at the same time. The concept kit features a slightly darker red and lighting-themed stripes. It seems the V-style design from the current shirt has been removed. On the front, you can see the logos of United Airlines, Wrexham AFC, and Vistaprint.

The away kit looks unrecognizable from the current one. The elegant white and green theme has been replaced by a yellow-dominated shirt complimented with shades of green. The shorts are entirely green. Interestingly, the away kit features the Nike logo instead of Vistaprint. With how Wrexham has progressed over the years, it won’t be surprising if Nike sponsors them in the near future.

Besides, United Airlines and Vista Print, HP is also one of the shirt sponsors. Their logo comes on the sleeve, which is not visible in these images. Yet, there is a common theme between these 3 companies.

How the kit sponsors are helping Wrexham beyond the soccer pitch

Wrexham AFC enjoys immense popularity in the United States, rivaling MLS clubs. A key reason for their large support base in the country is the US tour. But now, Ryan Reynolds need not worry about the budget required to sponsor a trip to America. United Airlines will now be sponsoring the club’s US tour and fly them to matches.

Wrexham agreed a sponsorship deal with Vistaprint in 2022. As per executive director Humphrey Ker, this partnership would benefit the wider community. This is because Vista Print is known to support regional businesses which in turn would boost the local economy.

Lastly, HP has a hand in the stadium development project. The tech giants want to leverage the power of technology to create the best experience for fans at STōK Cae Ras. With how Reynolds and Co. have chosen sponsorship deals, future sponsors can also be expected to contribute to being more than just names on a soccer kit.
