When Real Madrid comes calling, you never say no! Soccer players all over the world dream about playing at the prestigious Santiago Bernabeu. Over the years, Madrid has fielded some of the best players of their generation in the same team, and it seems like Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has plans to repeat history once again! According to reports, Real Madrid has already secured a move for Kylian Mbappe. However, it doesn’t seem like the club wants to stop anytime soon, with the Spanish side keen on securing a move for Bayern Munich superstar Alphonso Davies.

Davies and Madrid have been allegedly in contact for a while now. Based on reports, the Merengues have already found a deal in principle with the Canadian defender. Alphonso Davies is currently tied to Bayern Munich through his existing contract, with the deal set to expire in 2025. However, it will be fascinating to see if Los Blancos wants to play the waiting game.

Reports from the Athletic suggest Madrid is willing to pay close to $60 million to secure the player’s transfer come summer. While the amount is certainly lower than his valuation of $75 million, Bayern could be forced to cash in on the Canadian with the defender nearing the final year of his contract. However, if both sides fail to reach a compromise, Madrid wants Davies to run down his contract with the Bavarians before joining them as a free agent in 2025.
