Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith Jr, And Other Top Rookie Prospects For NBA Draft 2022

It's still six months before the 2022 NBA draft, but a new name is on the radar for the top pick.
AMONG THOSE IN CONTENTION FOR THE TOP SPOT IN THE EARLY PART OF THE SEASON ARE AUBURN'S JABARI SMITH, PAOLO BANCHERO, AND GONZAGA'S CHET HOLMGREN.

PAOLO BANCHERO

According to Synergy Sports, Banchero ranks in the 76th percentile in every offensive category, but his best stat comes from his spot-up shooting, where he averages 1.2 points per possession and is rated "excellent."

JABARI SMITH JR.

One of the best big men in college basketball, Smith has proven he can score at every level with his 44% from 3-point range and his ability to shoot in pick-and-pop situations.

Despite posting two points against Texas earlier this season and only five points against Texas Tech on Saturday, Holmgren still needs to show scouts that he's the first pick.

JADEN IVEY

Ivey made 6-of-6 shots from beyond the arc in a win over Butler on Saturday. He is a good scorer off the ball, and his first step is quick off the ball. Ivey has great length on defense and keeps his man in front consistently.

Jaden Hardy

In a top-five pick, the Rockets will take the best available player. Hardy was the best scorer in the country as a senior and is one of the best dribblers on the block.
