Who is Shaheen Halloway? NCAA Head Coach Who Made Kobe Bryant's "Kill List" By Beating Him To An MVP Award

Former professional basketball player Shaheen Holloway is currently the head coach of the St. Peter's Peacocks of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Kobe Bryant was part of his team at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in 1996 for the McDonald's All-American Game.
But after that match, despite Bryant's 13 points, Holloway earned the MVP award after scoring seven points with eight assists and six steals.

“I know in the McDonald’s Game, he was mad that he didn’t get MVP so he played very well in the Magic game and got MVP in that game,” Holloway, the current men's basketball coach at Saint Peter's University, said that.

“He was a competitor, he had that competitive spirit,” Holloway said. “You’ve got to realize, the team that we had at the McDonald’s Game in the East, there were so many big-time level guys, he took everything personal all the time, like he always wanted to be the best.”

During the podcast with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, Bryant discussed the "kill list" he made when he was 13. and The list included Holloway and former Paterson Catholic star Tim Thomas.
