Recently, Shields revealed what it was like to be married to Agassi decades after their divorce.
We are all aware of how disastrous Brooke Shields and Andre Agassi’s marriage was. Nonetheless, there were many rumors’ regarding why the American actress opted to marry a tennis star who was younger than her.
Andre Agassi’s ex-wife answers the most awaited question about the broken marriage.
Interestingly, she opened up about how she was being controlled by her mother; her entire life. Then she went on to expand on how she switched one controlling person for another by marrying the tennis legend.
In a conversation with the Sunday Times, Shields talked about her past life.
Shields recounted how her mother called her constantly to know about her whereabouts when she went to college.
The interviewer further asked Shields if marrying Agassi at 32 was her belated teenage rebellion.
“I’d heard the saying that you marry your father, but I kind of married my mom and swapped one form of control for another.”

Agassi literally took control of her acting career. And there were moments when he wasn’t totally comfortable with some of her well-known on-screen roles. Agassi didn’t particularly enjoy his then-wife’s portrayal in the hit sitcom FRIENDS.
