In January, the 59-time Grand Slam champion shared her cancer diagnosis with the world. But, a few days ago, the former tennis legend revealed that she is now cancer free. And as this positive news broke through the tennis world, fans showed their excitement.
Martina Navratilova’s wife is on cloud nine
In a conversation with PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of Miami actress shared how she is feeling now after her wife, Navratilova, successfully overcame two cancer diagnoses. The Russian model talked about how she was proud of her wife’s ability and praised the Czech-American tennis legend for her determination to get out as soon as possible.
She said, “I am so proud. I don’t even have the words to say how proud I am of my champion for playing singles against the nastiest double partners she ever faced in her life, and beating them both triumphantly. She amazes me every day.”
Not only that, but the Russian model has been a constant support to her wife during this difficult time. And she stayed true to the words of encouragement she had shared in January following her wife’s cancer diagnosis.
